Paul Wikstrom vs. Curtis Johnson
62-CV-24-7378 The case proceeded through motions to dismiss, motions for default judgment, and motions in limine, all of which were denied by the District Court. An evidentiary hearing was held in December 2024. The District Court issued findings and conclusions regarding residency, and the case was appealed to the Minnesota Supreme Court. The Supreme Court denied discretionary review of the interlocutory order but allowed the laches issue to be raised on appeal from the final decision.
